1. Minimum rental period
Minimum billing for long distance rentals is one week.
2 . Rental Period
The rental period starts from the moment the rented equipment is made available to the customer. If the equipment is received before the agreed start date then the rental period will still commence from the agreed date rather than the earlier date. The rental period ends on the day the customer gives up the equipment for return shipment.
3. Reservation
To allow for timely delivery, reservations must be received by e-mail at least 10 days prior to the desired date of rental.
4. Cancellations
Cancellations (via e-mail or telephone) must be received no less than 48hrs before the shipping date. Should they arrive any later a daily rental fee plus possible shipping costs will be charged.
5. Proof of identity
The customer must provide a copy of their passport or personal identity card (preferably scanned) via e-mail. Furthermore a full postal address and telephone number are required.
6. Advance Payment
Payment must be received on our account at least 8 days prior to the beginning of the rental period. The total amount to be paid in advance consists of the deposit (minimum 300 Euros), rental fee, insurance fee and shipping costs.
7. Shipping
For the rental period to start on the agreed date shipping is via either courier service or express postal package service. Should any unexpected delay occur the rental period will start from the later date.
8. Return of rented equipment
The return of rented equipment is the sole responsibility of the customer. This is done via courier or air mail and careful packaging is required in either case. The shipping receipt must be kept as proof of shipping. Should the package take more than three days we reserve the right to charge an additional daily rental fee.
9. Reimbursement of deposit
As soon as the rented equipment has been returned safely the deposit will be refunded via bank transfer.
10. Compulsory insurance
Insurance cover for the rented equipment is required for shipping as well as the duration of the rental period. The all inclusive rate is 20 Euros within Austria and 40 Euros for the rest of Europe.
11. Breakage
In case of unintentional breakage of a rented article the rental period is reduced accordingly, i.e. rental fee is only applied to the actual number of days the article was effectively in use. The prepaid shipping and insurance costs will also be reimbursed proportionately.
